It all started in early 2020, right before the world hit pause. We met at a bar in downtown Phoenix—one of those chance encounters where you see someone once and think, hmm, interesting. Then, we saw each other again the very next weekend. Fate? Maybe. Our first date was at a cozy little coffee shop, where we spent hours talking, sipping coffee, and flipping through a book where Sam had handwritten his favorite song lyrics. He even read a few out loud (swoon). By the end of that date, we both knew—we wanted more time together. When the world shut down, we spent those early months in Jamie’s tiny studio apartment, finding joy in the simple things—music, long conversations, and just being together. Fast forward to now—we’ve moved across the country to Brooklyn, are building a life we love with our animal babies, Misa and Pepper. And now, we’re getting married by a lake in Wisconsin, at Jamie’s parents’ house where she grew up. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.
